Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 September 2026
These terms apply whenever you use this website (https://mentors-net.com), including the mentor, facilitator and administrator dashboards. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is for
The Mentors Network provides the online platform supporting peer mentoring groups on the Help to Grow: Management Course — account access, cohort messaging, weekly polls, shared case studies and mentoring resources. Booking onto a mentoring cohort itself happens through Eventbrite; this site is not a booking or payment platform, and we don't process any payments.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential, and for anything done through your account.
- The details you give us (name, contact details, anything you post) must be accurate and yours to give.
- We may suspend or close an account that's used to breach these terms, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect other users or the site.
Using messaging, polls and case studies responsibly
When messaging your cohort, asking or voting on questions, or commenting on case studies, please don't post anything that:
- is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful;
- discloses someone else's personal or confidential information without their agreement;
- is spam, or unrelated advertising; or
- infringes anyone else's intellectual property rights.
We may remove content, or restrict an account, that breaches this. Comments and messages are only ever visible to the intended recipients (your cohort, or the mentor/facilitator community, depending on the feature) — not the public.
Resources and content
Documents and materials made available through the Resources area are provided to support your participation in the mentoring programme. Unless stated otherwise, they remain the property of their original authors or of The Mentors Network, and are for your own use in connection with the programme — not for republishing or commercial use elsewhere.
No warranty
We work to keep this site available and accurate, but it's provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and we're not responsible for decisions you make based on content posted by other users (including case study comments or messages), which reflect the views of the people who posted them, not The Mentors Network.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can't legally be limited or excluded (such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Third-party links and services
The site links to, and relies on, third-party services such as Eventbrite for event booking. We aren't responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of those third-party services.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
